The music is absolutely amazing. This is a fantastic collection from the ultimate Bard. The quality is top-notch throughout. I always use anti-static inners inside the cardboard sleeves, just to be safe. Saw him perform live for the first time last night, and at 84, he's still going strong, delivering an incredible show. The sound quality on these recordings is excellent, in my humble opinion.
Gorgeously put together box set. Indeed, numerous tracks have been floating around for ages, particularly following the copyright extension's 50th Anniversary Collections. Yet, the included book is absolutely worth the price alone, and there are hidden treasures I'd only encountered before as poor quality bootlegs or not at all. The complete Carnegie Hall 1963 show is fantastic, it's just a pity that this hasn't been officially released on vinyl yet.
The records look absolutely stunning, and the sound quality is top-notch for the source β no skips, crackles, or bends. The bonus tracks and live recordings are fantastic, and the unused takes make this version a must-have. The included booklet/magazine is stunningly crafted, with premium pages and images. Just a heads-up: the vinyl covers have a glossy finish thatβs super sensitive to smudges, so be gentle when handling them.
