Can you catch what I'm catching? You got it, a superb, cozy, quiet-as-a-mouse pressing. The crimson vinyl β no warps in sight β is a sweet holiday extra. Bob's gotta be the big man himself βcause he chased those Christmas blues away for this tiny percussionist.
The record I got has a bit of a bend on both sides during the first 20 seconds of every track, but it doesn't mess with the sound quality. Mine has hardly any pops or cracks at all. I'm stoked to finally have this after waiting forever for it to be pressed again and not wanting to drop $150+ on the original. I snagged this for just $18 and it was completely worth it.
The audio quality is fine, but the disc I received was really bent. I'm sending it back and hoping to get a better one next time.
Great pressing - finding RKS in the deadwax was a pleasant surprise.
Exclusive to Amazon, this red vinyl edition is a welcome reissue of a timeless album! It sounds incredible and was definitely worth the hold-up. One of the top Christmas albums out there.
