Fantastic job on the cutting, pressing, and mastering, though (I’m being picky here) the recording itself is a tad too compressed and comes off a bit dry at times - something you’d never catch with the late Gus Dudgeon at the helm - but hey, you can’t have everything, right? Still, it’s an outstanding piece of work, packed with amazing songs, and Elton’s delivering his best, so it’s a must-have…

Fantastic job on the editing, pressing and mastering, though (I'm being picky here) the recording itself is a tad over-compressed and a bit too dry in parts - something you'd never catch with the late Gus Dudgeon at the helm - but you can't have everything, right? Still, it's a brilliant piece of work, packed with amazing tracks, and Elton's at his best, so it's a must-have...
I absolutely love this Elton John album, thrilled to have finally got it on vinyl! And it's surprisingly loud, fantastic job on this release, particularly for a big label!
