I concur! The pressing and packaging are absolutely fantastic! And what an amazing record. Not a single weak track on this four-sided marvel! My copy isn't completely silent but it's pretty darn close. The sound quality is superb!
It's a shame this one is no longer in print. Among the top, if not the absolute top, sounding records in my collection. Absolutely breathtaking!
The song listing's got a typo. This album's incredible. It's my top Elton John record. It's packed with a bit of everything and has one of the greatest opening tracks ever. The sound quality's not the best here. The bass is quite subdued and the treble's a tad harsh sometimes. It's pretty much what you'd anticipate from an 80's cassette version of a 70's album on a minor label.
The vinyl record is really good. It's smooth and has no noise. I'm happy with the sound quality.
I'm really enjoying this album, but I reckon it might've worked better as one disk. Trim a few tracks and it'd be an even greater release.
