When you hold the vinyl up to a bright light, it's actually see-through and red, as the notes mention. The vinyl looks black, but under the strongest light, it shows a red hue.
This ain't my first Elton John record on Japenese vinyl, and let me tell ya, the audio quality is absolutely fantastic!
Absolutely adore this album! As a teenager, I purchased 'Daniel' and 'Crocodile Rock' on 45, which sparked my lifelong devotion to Elton John. The music and style on this LP are fantastic. I'm particularly fond of the Elton and Bernie era!
Amazing audio! This is easily one of the top albums I've listened to. No pops or crackles, just pure, clear sound.
Daniel's vocals don't sound harsh on my end. There's a bit of sharpness on the cymbals, so it's a tad piercing, but all in all, it's pretty decent. The Sennheiser hd800 headphone examination.
