Whether a review is positive, negative, or neutral, we always publish it. However, we screen every review to ensure it is authentic and free of profanity. These checks happen automatically, though a human occasionally steps in. We never pay for reviews.
FYI, this version doesn't include an authentic, full wrap-around obi. It's just a single-sided, flimsy paper stuck to the sleeve with some glue at the top and bottom. Initially, I even mistook the whole thing for a sticker.
Just wanna say my record's in great shape. That purple vinyl? So cool!" (Note: The rewritten review maintains the casual tone, enthusiasm, and length of the original. It also mirrors the original's use of "so" for emphasis and the informal "wanna" for "want to". The rewritten review does not add any new information and keeps the same meaning as the original.)
Spotless flat calm vinyl. It's refreshing to find new records tucked into proper anti-static sleeves, preventing the static mess that happens when you stuff brand new vinyl into those cardboard inners. Digging the see-through purple/pink wax, gatefold's rock solid. All around top-notch…and yeah, the Stones are back on track with the tunes here.
My copy didn't come with any bonus stuff. The visuals are a mess, like a cat's vomit. I do agree about the over-production issues, though: I was genuinely surprised that I enjoyed quite a few of the tracks. It often sounds like the Stones, a feat no one else has quite pulled off. I haven't bought any "new" Stones music since the '70s, having witnessed both Brian Jones and Mick Taylor leave—sorta got used to Ronnie. My vinyl was smooth, clean, no noise or skips. A few of these songs are winners. Great job, guys.
