The audio quality is reminiscent of a movie recording, with a slight underwater effect, particularly noticeable in A1. It's decent overall, though not as crisp as other soundboard recordings. Don't anticipate a perfect 1:1 match. I'd still suggest this to any collectors out there.

Oddly, it doesn't quite hit the mark as you'd expect from a movie soundtrack, but then, the movie's audio isn't all that impressive either... yet it's still pretty darn awesome. Black & white cover.
Incredible! The Stones truly shine on this record. The vinyl quality is top-notch, smooth, and silent between songs. This was a European promo for the DVD and Blu-ray drops in October, 2010. The LP mix might be a fold-down from the original quadrophonic soundtrack. Charlie's drums are front and center, and they're brighter in the mix than you'd usually hear. Mick T and Keith's guitars are more blended together, not as separated on the left and right channels as usual. Nicky Hopkins' piano work is a great addition, filling in the middle nicely and way more noticeable than on 'Ya Yaz.' 'Rip this Joint' and 'Bye Bye Johnny' are off the charts, absolutely electrifying. I'd have bought this album just for those two tracks alone. 'Midnight Rambler' really highlights Mick T's lead vocals better than other live versions.
