I'm checking out the 2005 EU vinyl edition, probably pressed in the Netherlands by Record Industry (RI). The tracks were laid down across multiple sessions in 2005, featuring different band members and producers for each song. Vocals and drums are typically centered in the mix, while the guitars might lean a bit left or right depending on who's playing and their role in the track. The vinyl is nice and quiet, as you'd expect from RI, with no inner groove noise or harsh sibilance. Even though it was cut from high-res digital files, the vinyl sounds less squashed and offers a broader soundstage than the 2005 CD. The highs aren't as biting as the CD, and there's a nice boost in the mids that really enhances the listening experience.
I own the original deluxe version and this remastered edition. Unfortunately, the remaster doesn't match up to the original in terms of sound quality. It's not very pleasing to the ears, even though I'm a fan of this album.
