The group is off-key and having trouble tuning up between tracks but it’s The Rolling Thunder Revue at its messy, glorious best and a fantastic live record.
This live record often gets criticized for not showcasing the Rolling Thunder Revue at their best. It's a bit of a puzzle why Columbia chose these tracks over earlier, superior ones. Still, I find it alright. The highlight is the fresh take on many early Dylan songs, making it at least engaging. The whole show feels like Dylan thought the crowd couldn't hear him, as his vocals often sound pushed. But overall, it's a decent live album.
This is a fantastic pressing. Alright, it's probably from a digital transfer, but this vinyl is super quiet, flat, and dynamic. The poly sleeve is also really nice (the vinyl arrived clean and perfect). This live album has Dylan in top form, playing loud, angry, and full of brilliant energy—really rocking a raw punk sound for these classic tunes. It's akin to The Rolling Thunder shows, but a bit grittier. If you're into loud, fast punk music with crunchy guitars and booming bass, this is a great way to get into Dylan. For general Dylan fans, it's an amazing record and a must-own, overlooked live treasure.

The sound quality of this album isn't top-notch, but it's Bob Dylan delivering some of his finest work. It's an enjoyable listen, and I'm happy my copy is in excellent condition.
