I'm truly happy with this record, the bass is clear and distortion-free, and the highs are perfect. It's an all-around excellent pressing that I believe any Beatles fan ought to own.
Grabbed this one on a whim from a record shop for a mere Β£10, not really anticipating much, but was genuinely blown away by the audio quality. Checking out the comparable UK version from roughly the same era (1976), I noticed folks seem to really dig these mid-70s stereo pressings. If you're into the Beatles' earlier work, snagging a copy is absolutely worth your while.
This red vinyl sounds absolutely amazing. It's crisp, energetic, and the bass is just phenomenal. The sound is sharp but not harsh. It's quite distinct from the 2014 version, which is a bit less "crisp" in comparison. Both are great, though, just different. Definitely one of my top copies of this album.
Fantastic STEREO edition, not a whole lot of stereo versions around, if you're after a bargain, 1963 colonial pressing, this one's as good as any from the UK
This press seems quite dull on the highs, really muddy to me. I've got a Japan 1976 Country Flag too, and it sounds way more brilliant.
