Exceptionally well-made pressing. The distinctive track listing truly makes this a standout disc to showcase.
Fantastic album with superb sound quality. However, the songs are not in the order mentioned, and Sergeant Pepper is missing.
This live album is a hidden gem that's absolutely scorching. It's a great blend of fast-paced rock tracks and extended improvisational jams. Jimi's guitar work is crisp and blazing throughout. If you're into this one, definitely check out the 2LP set called The Jimi Hendrix Concerts from 1982, it's also top-notch.
An absolutely iconic live album from Hendrix, put out not long after he passed away. His version of Voodoo Child is just as incredible as the studio take, and where else might you catch Britain's national anthem and his homages to The Beatles and Chuck Berry? It's one of the rare posthumous records from the 70s that didn't seem like a pure money-making scheme.
This album's flow is a bit off, with a random assortment of tour dates. But the tracks are incredible and masterfully blended. "Red House" is absolutely breathtaking and truly shines.
