  • Clear Sound, Flimsy Sleeve

    4 out of 5 stars
    lyifelpuNovember 30, 2025United States🇺🇸

Audio quality is fantastic. It's peaceful and super clear. The sleeve's a bit basic, though. Feels too flimsy for a double 180g record, and the artwork's more vibrant than the original.

Fantastic album. Fantastic pressing. Grab it now before the price goes up..

  • Quiet Reissue, Crackled Side

    5 out of 5 stars
    XmYyuxdjelaAugust 4, 2025United States🇺🇸

Side C of this one's got a bunch of crackles, but the rest of the record's super quiet. Absolutely fantastic sounding reissue!

  • Vinyl Sounds Crystal Clear

    4 out of 5 stars
    jidixiguh2July 26, 2025United States🇺🇸

Just gotta chime in to say this sounds amazing, I'd only listened to my cd prior but the vinyl is crystal clear with zero surface noise. The album's fantastic anyway, of course...

  • Lou's Career-Best Solo Album

    5 out of 5 stars
    v-y-rowJuly 11, 2025United States🇺🇸

Amazing album. It's right up there for the best solo work of Lou's entire career. Unbelievable that he was putting out something this powerful after more than 30 years in the game. Not a single weak spot, and so many standout tracks.

About Lou Reed

Lou Reed, born Lewis Allan Reed, was an iconic American singer-songwriter, musician, and actor, best known as the frontman of the influential rock band The Velvet Underground. With his distinctive deadpan voice, provocative lyrics, and innovative guitar playing, Reed left an indelible mark on the music world. Formed in 1965, The Velvet Underground, under Reed's guidance, produced four groundbreaking albums that, though not commercially successful at the time, have since been hailed as enormously influential. The band's association with Andy Warhol's Factory scene further cemented their status as pioneers of underground and alternative rock. Beyond The Velvet Underground, Reed's solo career spanned five decades, encompassing a diverse range of styles from glam rock to proto-punk. His solo work, including hits like "Walk on the Wild Side" and "Perfect Day," showcased his versatility and enduring impact on modern music. Reed's legacy as one of rock's most important singer-songwriters is undeniable, with a body of work that stands alongside legends like Dylan and Lennon-McCartney.
