This is a really great vinyl pressing. It's flat and quiet, with a strong, powerful sound. It's also a very reasonably priced pressing that delivers good quality sound.
Having compared it with the original US Decca first pressings and various modern reissues and remasters, this is the copy I'm keeping. It boasts the most impressive soundstage and overall impact. I can't quite put my finger on why, but this 1974 UK Track pressing is the standout in The Who’s Next collection. Must be that BILBO! 😂

Who's Next is a must-have for any vinyl collection starter kit. It's truly one of the greatest albums ever made. I'm not sure how this version compares to others, but it's fantastic in my opinion. John Entwistle and Keith Moon deliver amazing performances. Pete Townshend's guitars sound incredible. Roger Daltrey is also outstanding on this record. You can't go wrong with it.
Get this one, it's the best! Doug Sax did the mastering. Skip all those other remasters and reissues. I've got the other first pressing on Decca too (which is pretty great), but this one's got that extra punch and a wider 3D soundstage. It's a bit more controlled with deeper clarity and detail.
