Absolutely delighted with this re-release. It's spotless and sharp. The audio quality is fantastic.
I'm absolutely in love with the radio broadcast on disc 2! It's amazing to hear 'Tomorrow is Today' with a full band! He doesn't perform that song live these days, but I'm thrilled that everyone can finally listen to it.
Billy Joel, a true songwriting genius, has an incredible and brilliant discography. Pick up any of his albums from before 1990, and you're guaranteed a fantastic listen. The title track is arguably his masterpiece, standing out even among his many career highlights. It's reason enough to own the album. But don't stop there—the other songs offer stories from a creative mind and a heartfelt soul. Plus, his piano playing is exquisite throughout. And let's not forget the band, which perfectly complements Joel. This record is a must-have for your collection, alongside several others, perhaps. I love blasting this album during long road trips, singing along loudly with the windows rolled down. This pressing is top-notch. You can tell within seconds if you've got a good one or a dud, and this one is crisp, full-range, and has that punchy drums and bass you crave. Highly recommended.
Absolutely worth it. This album and its remastering are just flawless. The Japanese truly excel at this kind of work.
I've got a copy that's got the Customatrix "o" but it's missing the DM. Should this be a separate release or is it just a variant of this one? I've noticed this question pop up before, like on Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young - Déjà Vu, but I couldn't find a definitive answer. Here's what my copy looks like: Runout side A: o AL-32544 1D-2HZ Runout side B: BL-32544-1A o P.J-2-DH There's another variant out there that's got the "o" on one side and also has the DM. Should it be separated because it's got both identifiers?
