In my opinion, this version has improved sound quality compared to the 2021 reissue - it's brighter and less muddy than the newer one. However, there's a problem: even after cleaning, it has numerous cracks, pops, skips, and jumps. For display purposes, it looks fantastic. Still, nothing beats the great MOV release, which remains the best.

Alright, I'm genuinely torn about this album. Initially, I thought it was pretty boring and outdated, but now I've found quite a bit to appreciate. It's way more laid-back than the frenetic "Earthling" and the industrial vibe of "Outside", opting for a more modern sound that's unmistakably Bowie. The audio quality is fantastic, but the real issue is the cover. Oh man, it's awful. If you're hoping for a high-quality cover, you'll be let down as it looks like it was stretched to the point where even the tiniest details are blurred and pixelated. On the other hand, the 20-page lyric booklet looks great, which makes it confusing that the cover looks so poorly made while the booklet is quite decent. All things considered, I'd recommend waiting for the price to drop before buying it (currently, Collector's Choice has it for $10, and I got it with the "Heroes" symphony for a total of $27 - an absolute bargain in my opinion).
The vinyl is great, but I was let down by the poor print quality on the front cover.
Wow, this pressing is insanely hot! I'm a huge fan of Music on Vinyl, and this album is not just a looker or a smeller, but it's got the best sound quality ever. It's even better than the new 2021 reissue! What a bummer
