  Over the years, I've had my hands on various versions of this timeless piece, but I consistently find myself returning to the original vinyl release. I'm the proud owner of a gorgeous, quiet copy that delivers an almost 3D audio experience. The sleeve is also top-notch. There was a period when I was indifferent towards this album, but now it's secured a spot in my Top 5 Bowie records. I believe I've finally grasped the masterpiece that is Lodger.

  This one's got a gatefold, just like the European release from that same year. But hey, the inner images aren't the same as the original.

  This last Berlin album (if you don't count "Scary Monsters") might be the least impressive of Bowie's Berlin records. That said, he's still at his best with fantastic tracks like "Boys Keep Swinging" and "Look Back In Anger".
