Whether a review is positive, negative, or neutral, we always publish it. However, we screen every review to ensure it is authentic and free of profanity. These checks happen automatically, though a human occasionally steps in. We never pay for reviews.
Finally, with Tony Iommi and Mike Exeter's remix, this album is fully audible. Ernie C.'s original mix was truly awful. Now, you can actually hear Cozy Powell's drumming! The songs' quality truly stands out. As for the pressing: even after wet cleaning, there's still some surface noise. But honestly, there aren't many quiet parts to notice it. Overall, I side with "gatefold"'s opinion.
This album is seriously impressive, I'm really into it now. Side A's got a bunch of tiny craters, with some pops and crackles, particularly on "Can't Get Close Enough". Apart from that, it's a decent sounding album, with the bass turned down manually and the treble cranked up a bit.
Fantastic pressing! I also purchased the boxset, and I've noticed the clear vinyl seems quieter than the black one. If you're experiencing a lot of noise, it's likely static. Make sure to use a brush before playing. The vinyl is housed in a black polythene inner sleeve. The lyrics are printed on a separate piece of paper.
DR might be lower, but this remix blows the original out of the water
