Mine displays 'Side I, II, III, and IV'. The numbers on the deadwax are scratched out, and a different number is etched beside them. The year 1980 is also etched on it. Each dead wax has a signature, etched as well.
This is a fantastic live performance from the Beach Boys, hailing from the early '70s. The band is in top form, the recording quality is superb, and it's an absolute joy to listen to. The bass is cooking (Marcella) and really stands out. Caroline, No sounds surprisingly good. Highly recommended!
Should you stumble upon a pristine version, this record is absolutely brilliant. The audio is crisp and full of life, not at all diminished; I've noticed that many of the initial Reprise pressings of Beach Boys' albums boast superb sound quality, and this one is no exception.
It's tough to find much to criticize about this album. The way the songs from various shows are stitched together isn't as impressive as Wings Over America, but hey, it's a 70s record, so I shouldn't be too picky. The audio quality is fantastic, though. It's warm, well-balanced, and even when you turn it up (though you don't need to, it's already pretty intense), it's an absolute blast.
We don't have a live price right now, but stock fluctuates daily. You can check for hidden stock on Amazon directly, or let us alert you as soon as it is available.
