Amazing audio quality and presentation. Bob Ludwig's remastering work is top-notch.
I came across a gently used version and it sounds fantastic! It's a bit lacking on the low end, but I'm still pleased with it since it's not one of my top picks from Elton.
Fantastic UK edition, crystal clear and pristine, every track is brilliant with a groovy production that sets it apart from GBYBR, a more prominent sound with unique arrangements and instruments that'll keep it fresh and fun.
Incredible pressing! Every one of these 2017 remasters by Bob Ludwig is outstanding, and this one is right up there with the best. The audio quality is simply stunning, with fantastic dynamics. Don't miss out, get your copy now!
This is a story of two sides of a vinyl. The initial side (Caribou) is fantastic. It has a superb dynamic range, is pressed quietly, and offers a detailed sound stage. The second side (bonus tracks) is a disaster. It doesn't meet the same audio quality as the main Caribou album. The extended take of Stinker is terrible. Elton's voice is nearly impossible to hear, drowned out by a mess of noise. The bright side is that the Caribou album has never sounded this good on vinyl.
