Adore it, Totally adore it!! This is hands down the best it's ever sounded. Analog to digital...Yada, Yada, Yada...who cares......this is freakin' awesome!!!
Van Halen's classic rock album is fantastic, and this Europian reissue is no different.
Picked up this gem from a super nice guy at a record fair last week for just $12. I didn't ask about his process, but I'd bet he buys records, rips 'em to tape, and then never touches the vinyl again. All his stuff was in near perfect shape and dirt cheap. This pressing sounds incredible and is a huge step up from my beat-up second press. This album was my constant companion during the pandemic, just like all the other VH records. I know every track by heart and my best friend is a fan too. I've never had a bad experience with Jacksonville pressings and would totally recommend grabbing this one if you find it in good condition for a fair price.
Everyone's here for that one legendary track. The rest ain't bad either. That's all.
My car arrived with no sleeve, no cover, and it's all scratched up real bad. It's not worth a dime. The seller did a awful job.
