The audio on my version is fantastic, with superb mastering and a realy quiet pressing.

Though this isn't my top pick from Kate Bush, I can certainly see why others might dig it. It's just that the album never quite settles on a vibe for me. It's kinda all over, you know? There's some solid tracks in their own right, but when you listen to the whole thing, it feels a tad inconsistent. Plus, the production's a bit dated, which doesn't do it any favors. That said, I was really into the analogue versions of some of these songs from Director's Cut a few years ago. Not a bad record by any means. Just not really my thing. God bless. TuckCon
I rarely find a remaster that outshines the original, but this one has truly blown me away with its exceptional quality…it's as silent as a tomb, not a hint of surface noise, outstanding across the entire tonal spectrum, deep and rich bass (but not excessive), vocals that are crystal clear with zero harshness, packed with detail and separation…kudos to the team behind this fantastic album's remaster.
This vinyl record is quite fragile, and there's an excessive amount of tracks crammed onto each side, but surprisingly, the sound quality is decent, making it quite enjoyable to listen to. I'd be interested in a 2 LP version, but I'm more drawn to her earlier work, and this recording is good enough that it's not a pressing need.
