Among the best renditions of any album out there... It's definitely worth your time and money.
I've got two of these, but I'm missing the Matrix numbers for both, DIDX 226 131A10 and DIDX 226 131A6. This seems to be the best match I can find.
The audio is rather flat, has too much bass, and struggles with clarity.
Oh my god, the fidelity creates an ENORMOUS wide soundstage in 3D with pounding, pulsing bass and scorching guitars on top. It's aggressive and intense in a way that's missing from every modern repress I've listened to. Vocals are crystal clear and the midrange has detail that's utterly immersive. This has an edge that's smoothed out by modern remasters in both digital and analogue. Highest recommendation! [Tech specs in my profile]
This album is an absolute treat to my ears, I haven't heard many others to compare it to but it's fantastic. The sound stage is massive, the dynamics are stunning, and the bass is so rich and full. I'm thrilled to have a copy that sounds this phenomenal.
