Whether a review is positive, negative, or neutral, we always publish it. However, we screen every review to ensure it is authentic and free of profanity. These checks happen automatically, though a human occasionally steps in. We never pay for reviews.

My 37 year old cassette player sounds amazing!! So if you get the chance to get one, just do it.

I don't have any other pressings to compare this to, but to me it sounds pretty great - whisper quiet and dynamic

  • Japan Pressing Deal

I totally agree with the earlier comment about this being an amazing pressing. If you ever find yourself in Japan, you can grab it for a pretty decent price. I just got a NM copy for under $15 USD from HMV in Tokyo.

  • Talking Book's Best Pressing

    5 out of 5 stars
    RqaAyYoeOctober 17, 2025United States🇺🇸

It's astonishing that there are no other reviews for this particular pressing, given that it's an outstanding release. It utterly outshines the recent (poorly-executed) reissues with unmatched clarity, depth, and noise-free vinyl. Without a doubt, this is the best version of Talking Book I've ever encountered. Records of this caliber are truly eye-opening and serve as a reminder of why we fell in love with collecting them in the first place. It's definitely in my all-time Top 5.

  • Great Album

“Maybe your baby” and “Superstition” are awesome funk-tracks but the rest of this album is way too popular for my taste…

About Stevie Wonder

Stevie Wonder, born Stevland Hardaway Morris, is a legendary American-Ghanaian singer-songwriter, musician, and record producer who has left an indelible mark on the music industry. His career spans decades, during which he has crafted a discography that includes 23 studio albums and over 30 U.S. top ten hits, such as "Superstition," "Sir Duke," and "I Just Called to Say I Love You." Wonder's innovative use of synthesizers and electronic instruments in the 1970s revolutionized contemporary R&B and soul music, making him a pioneer and influence across multiple genres. Beyond his musical prowess, Stevie Wonder is known for his socially conscious lyrics and activism, using his platform to advocate for various causes. With 25 Grammy Awards and a Presidential Medal of Freedom, Wonder's impact on music and culture is immeasurable, solidifying his status as a true icon.
