This is an amazing collection for numerous reasons. The sequencing is excellent, it flows wonderfully. The four new tracks are all quite good, with "That Girl" and "Do I Do" standing out. Plus, it features a vibrant, embossed gatefold cover. No problems with this pressing, it has a strong range from start to finish and a warm, lively soundstage across both discs. My copy plays smoothly with some faint surface noise here and there.
This album sounds absolutely gorgeous. The Matrix / Runout seems just like the one here: https://www.discogs.com/Stevie-Wonder-Stevie-Wonders-Original-Musiquarium-I/release/16724478 The only thing that's different is the embossed M25 - Motown 25th anniversary logo on the upper left front jacket.
Excellent summary of Stevie's journey up to 1982, however, the song list has some noticeable exclusions - ‘As’ must be included in any SW collection. Fantastic audio quality, peaceful pressing. Highly suggest it.
Incredible sounding record. Deep, full audio for a collection. Found my copy for a dollar at a second-hand shop.
The needle slides effortlessly over the tracks, smooth and flat. Every music enthusiast needs this compilation in their collection. Japanese pressings are frequently just that good.
