Stevie truly is a national gem. This is a classic album, and you can really feel his passion in every track. His vocals are absolutely stunning, and the music is pure Stevie. I'd definitely recommend giving it a listen!
I just picked up a near mint white label promo copy of this release for a mere $10.00, and it's incredible. Doesn't seem like this one's highly sought after, so I'd recommend grabbing it before you end up paying more for a recent reissue. It's exactly how you'd want this album to sound, with a great wide stereo soundstage. I'm playing it on a Technics SL1200 with an Ortofon 2M Black cartrige.
Quite a bit of crackling on both sides of my record. Adore the tunes, but let down by the pressing's quality.
