Without a doubt, this is the MOST impressive sounding master of this legendary album. The original Tamla CD version is quite good, but this one outshines it, as MFSL had the privilege of using the first generation production master, rather than just a copy.

Beyond the extraordinary inspiration that guided Stevie during the creation of this masterpiece (may God protect him), this French pressing stands out from all the others. I tip my hat to Vogue, once based in Villetaneuse, for this noise-free, clear, and warm pressing. The bass is deep and perfectly positioned in the rhythm.
