Well, this is a, uh, quite impressive album! I'm really into this sort of minimal, uncluttered yet skillfully made production by Eno that complements Paul’s songs perfectly. In my opinion, this album is way more engaging and fulfilling than his much-acclaimed “Graceland,” which I must admit I’ve heard one too many times. I snagged this one recently for a bargain price of $20 (vinyl in M- condition, cover VG+) – what a steal!
The tracks are just okay. The vinyl is well pressed, flat, and silent, but the sound quality is just okay. "Rhythm of the Saints" (DMM cut), "Graceland", "Negotiations", and "Love Songs" all have better sound.
