This LP sounds absolutely incredible, crystal clear like a pristine pond, with a wide stereo image & amazing bass. Every instrument sounds so 'live' it's like they're right there in the room with ya, know what I mean? And the vinyl is dead-quiet too.
Incredible how you can snag this 1974 Japanese vinyl in utterly flawless condition and get it shipped right to your front door within days. And yes, it absolutely knocks it out of the park sound-wise in every single way!! What a bloody brilliant album!!

Together with the 'Bahia' album that came out in '65, this record, first released in '63, includes songs from two different sessions. The earlier session from '57 also gave us the tracks that ended up on the 'Stardust' album. It's a lovely collection, all slow tunes except for 'Love Thy Neighbour'. The title track is likely the standout, but the album is also worth mentioning as one of the first recordings featuring Freddie Hubbard, who would later appear on Olé and Africa Brass.
Echoing what Old Rusty said earlier. It's spotless, crisp, and full of energy - you can't go wrong. The audio is vibrant yet smooth. Grab it without hesitation. Praise amazon. The last one I got was super bent; they swapped it out, and this new one's awesome. Really happy with it.
