This pressing sounds fantastic! The bass is well-defined, and the mid-range & highs are balanced and crisp. Moons’ drums and Entwhistles’ bass lines are crystal clear. Great production and mix for a standard release.
Superb vinyl pressing. The sound is flat and noise-free, truly exceptional. The bass is deep and the mids are outstanding. I'm really digging it.
This hot-cut reissue boasts fantastic sound quality, all thanks to the mastering work by TML's Acosta—though he's not officially credited. He really brings out the bass and drums in this version. Plus, the price is pretty fair too!
This is a fantastic pressing. You get a crisp, spacious, and highly detailed soundstage. It's arguably the most ambitious project the Who has ever put out. It packs the punch of "Tommy" but with a more intricate narrative about teenage struggles. In my view, this is the Who at their absolute best.
Awesome album, but why are sides 1 and 4 on Disc 1 and sides 2 and 3 on Disc 2? Is this usual?
