Having compared this record to the previous releases, the CD and the remastered DVD, I've got to say, this is the finest capture of this iconic performance I've come across. It boasts the highest dynamic range yet, and the music truly springs to life in a manner that's both similar and yet entirely distinct from Live at Leeds.
I've got this one, but mine's on Gold vinyl. Heard it's a Promo too. Anyone know more?

Translated automatically,This is certainly a three-disc collection, showcasing The Who at their peak. Entwistle's bass might be a tad murky during the opening track "Heaven and Hell," but it clears up nicely afterward. They deliver a lively rendition of the TOMMY segment, "Water" stands out early on, Daltrey nails a solid Howlin' Wolf impression on "Spoonful," and "Naked Eye" is arguably the finest version I've encountered. The sound quality here is impressive, with a more upfront mix compared to the 1996 US CD release. My copy is in excellent shape, playing smoothly with no noticeable surface noise, even at higher volumes.
This package and pressing are quite pleasant, and the gold vinyl is visually appealing, but this live recording and performance simply can't hold a candle to Live at Leeds. In my opinion, that's still the ultimate live Who experience. That said, I did enjoy this 3 LP set and I'm glad to have it in my collection.
