Absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. The lyrics, the recording, the production...perfect. This is my all-time favorite Dire Straits album.
I absolutely love this album and was thrilled to finally get my hands on a copy, as it's a bit trickier to find than some of their other releases. The sound quality is fantastic, but unfortunately, the pressing left something to be desired. My copy arrived with two noticeable scratches on side one, which are both visible and audible. I'm glad to have it in my collection, but those scratches do take away from the overall listening experience. Just a heads up, you might receive a copy with some damage. It seems like others got a clean one, though.
Amazing audio and the track list is spot on. Ticket To Heavan is an awesome deep cut.
An ultrasonic clean got rid of almost every click, and I'm now enjoying a truly amazing sounding copy of my all-time favorite Dire Straits album. Chris Bellman's work is always top-notch, but this time he's truly surpassed himself.
