No Masterdisk RL (Robert Ludwig) etched in the dead wax here. These Columbia House pressings are frequently lacking in sound quality, using different stamps and/or mastering engineers. But WOW, this one's a stunner! Massive 3D stage presence that truly sounds live, with deep, rumbling bass and incredible midrange detail. You can almost feel Knopfler’s fingers strumming those strings! In this case, don't hesitate to grab this Columbia House pressing. Absolutely fantastic! [Tech specs in my profile]

Honestly, how is it possible to rate this below 5 stars?! No one else can replicate the sound of Dire Straits, it's so uncool yet so cool simultaneously XD But genuinely, the catchiness is insane, the variety of instruments is impressive, and the dynamics are amazing, wow.
