This coat appears to be a tweaked take on the mono's jacket. Nowhere on it can you spot the word "Stereo". Instead, there's "BLP 4007" on the spine, which suggests it's a mono pressing. I'm not sure what this method is called in printmaking, but under the Blue Note logo, a bit of UA company's name is stuck on top of the original cover. You can also find this on the front's bottom-right, where the "Printed in the USA" line used to be. If anyone knows more about this, please share!

Fantastic sounding record even though it's missing RVG stampers. The UA team handled the mastering and they did a great job. These are absolutely THE best BN deals out there.

First album for Blue Note by Bird. Wynton Kelly plays piano. There's some good tracks, not a fan of the first one, but I really like "Sudwest Funk" and "Down Tempo" by Byrd, and "Paul's Pal" by Sonny Rollins.
