Neil's New York solo record, featuring a unique touch: primarily backed by his powerful, thunderous electric guitar. If you're into electric Neil, this one's a must-have. My gorgeous first pressing still sounds incredible. The matte gatefold cover just adds to the magic!
After a dozen years gathering dust, I pulled it out and gave it a spin on my new setup. This album is an absolute monster: the bass is so deep it could swallow you whole, and the guitars sound like they're playing in a stadium. It's like a spaceship is hovering right above my roof!
Absolutely incredible sounds, and a fantastic move for NY teaming up with Lanois. The songs are hauntingly beautiful, but for me, it's all about the top-notch production on this album.

Just go for the digital version instead of those sketchy repress vinyl records...
