Checked out both the LP Only and Box Set editions: Packaging on both is top-notch, gatefold is solid, finish is quality, black paper poly-lined sleeves, box is sturdy, fits tight, and precise. Vinyl on both versions looks clean, flat, and centered. Noise is low (vinyl is very quiet), dynamics are great, vocals, guitar, and piano are super clear and present, well-balanced. LP only copy has a minor vinyl flaw on the last track, but a couple of ticks are nearly inaudible. Box version has no blemishes, both play without pops. Compared to the Massey Hall release (https://www.discogs.com/Neil-Young-Live-At-Massey-Hall-1971/release/3610191), they're quite similar, but to my ears, Massey Hall is a bit bigger and more present, more visceral, at times a hint of sibilance. Whereas, on Shakespeare, Neil's voice is sweet and smooth. Massey has more crowd and venue presence. Both are top-notch acoustic Young recordings, in my opinion.

At Massey Hall, I keep the mute button handy between songs. The crowd here is way more relaxed, which makes the whole thing more enjoyable, in my opinion. It's not a Canadian audience, so that explains it. The sound quality is just as good. Maybe not as good as when they have the reel-to-reel stage recording (I've got the DVD), but it's still really good. I like this performance better. By the way, the Sugar Mountain intro is absolutely hilarious.
I wholeheartedly echo what Scoot1974 said. This is an outstanding release featuring superb sound, impressive packaging, and a flawless record. (Though I must admit, I'm a tad let down it's a digital master, but it still sounds amazing). That being said, the Massey Hall version is quite hard to surpass. Still, I strongly suggest giving Young Shakespeare a listen for an absolutely gorgeous acoustic Neil Young journey.
