Nice, but I've got a banged up 'KENDUN ❤️' that sounds amazing, I'll likely try to get one of those at some point. This one's just a bit muddy all around.
I've always preferred the more updated, remastered takes of "Landslide" in digital form over the originals, and I was hoping that might shift with vinyl, but it hasn't. That said, it remains one of my top two favorite FM albums, and this pressing is genuinely impressive. I may still check out the newer versions down the line, if only to experience "Landslide" in its full glory on vinyl.
Unfortunately, this reissue didn't quite hit the mark for me. The bass feels a tad too heavy, making it a bit of a struggle to focus on the vocals, which are somewhat overshadowed by the overpowering low end.
Just knowing you might hear Landslide in this quality makes it all worth it.
Having no prior experience to reference, I must say this pressing sounds fantastic on my revealing system. While some folks grumble about the bass, I personally don't see it as an issue. Since I'm not using a subwoofer, a bit more bass actually enhances my setup. I've never heard tracks like Landslide sound this incredible before, especially considering I was just 20 when it first came out! 😳 The whole package is put together so beautifully. I'm thrilled to have it in my collection. 🙏
