  The live rendition of "Blue Christmas" from the special is unnecessary. It's just a bunch of screaming girls. It feels out of place after "Silver Bells". We didn't need it, and we certainly didn't need the extended version of "Merry Christmas, Baby", the only song that doesn't belong. Other than that, it's alright. Some liner notes would've been a nice touch. They skimped on the booklet.

  I'm really surprised by the rather low rating given to this album. The tracks are pleasant, both traditional and innovative. The mixing and pressing quality are impeccable, far superior to most new LPs these days (in fact, the only one that surpasses it is Random Access Memories by Daft Punk, which is a benchmark). I highly recommend it!
