Harry Nilsson's vocals were still in fine form when he laid down this collection of classics, and this Dynaflex pressing delivers a great listen, with impressive clarity throughout and a rich, expansive soundstage. My copy has minimal surface noise, though there are a couple of slight pops scattered throughout.
Fantastic audio quality with this version, deep vocals and a perfectly balanced blend.
Harry's homage to the incredible songwriters of the 20th Century could very well be his finest work. And perhaps the most sonically impressive too, with his vocals captured flawlessly amidst rich arrangements in stunning stereo.
This album is phenomenal, just as others have mentioned, the orchestra is so rich and full of life. It's definitely going to be my top choice when I want to showcase my system.
