Absolutely fantastic audio quality in this re-release. Mine does have a slight bit of hiss during some of the softer parts but it's still an incredible listen. A truly groundbreaking album.
Certain Randy Newman tracks truly benefit from a skilled singer, and Harry Nilsson absolutely nails it on this album. He brings a fresh perspective to 'So Long Dad' and 'Living Without You', and the whole record might just outshine any solo work from either Newman or Nilsson. It's a must-have for early Randy Newman enthusiasts and anyone who loves the distinctive voice of Harry Nilsson.
Every time you play this album, it just keeps getting better. It's a promise.
