Such a gem. Every Harry album is a must-hear, this one's a brilliant piece from a legend in the evening of his career.
It's Harry Nilsson! This guy is the least recognized among the legends. This is a fantastic pressing.
This is an incredible release! The final recordings of Harry Nilsson, some made just hours before his passing, are showcased here in a polished and breathtaking way. Nilsson was one of the most underappreciated singers and songwriters of his time, and although not every track here is his absolute best, there are some genuinely fantastic ones! "Try" and "Animal Farm," to name a few, really encapsulate his peak moments in the '70s. With support from some of the finest studio musicians, including his pals Jim Keltner and Van Dyke Parks, as well as his son Keifo, this album absolutely holds its own alongside his earlier work. This is by no means a hastily put-together collection from some leftover vocal tapes. The vinyl is perfectly quiet, flat, and looks stunning in white. If you're a fan of Harry Nilsson, you owe it to yourself to give this record a listen. Rest in power, Harry!
