  • Miles' Fiery Masterpiece

    4 out of 5 stars
    LewiKeci22 December 2025United States🇺🇸

The audio quality is superb, although my copy has a slight warp that doesn't impact playback. It's my only gripe. The tunes are amazing. Miles was absolutely on fire during this era, backed by an incredible band. Definitely worth picking up this album.

  • Awesome Unique Rich Bass

    5 out of 5 stars
    kuuddqpeqvfou30 October 2025United States🇺🇸

Some truly awesome and unique stuff happening here. My version had a bit of a bent disc 1, but both discs spin smoothly with fantastic dynamics. The bass is incredibly rich too!

  • Concert Recording Delight

    5 out of 5 stars
    PzeFicgozudy17 October 2025United Kingdom🇬🇧

My version suits me just fine, though a true audio enthusiast might've griped about the minor stitching issue on the left side and a slightly off-center pressing on one of the discs. Plus, the sleeves made it quite grimy. But hey, the recording's fantastic. The concert was amazing.

  • Miles Davis' Flawless 80's

    5 out of 5 stars
    ovzfoot9 July 2025United States🇺🇸

Flawless pressing. Spotless, level and hushed. Excellent recording, with distinct instrument separation and a proper sound stage. An 80’s transitional band pouring their hearts out for the Prince of Darkness. Miles sounds fantastic and precise, no wah-wah, just his signature intense mid tone. I've always had a soft spot for this era, and caught his live shows twice around this time, though with his more pop-oriented band from the late 80’s. A truly welcome and generous release.

  • Groovy Album, Perfect Copy

    5 out of 5 stars

Amazing groovy album - my copy is perfect and smooth. The sounds are super clear, really no issues at all!

About Miles Davis

Miles Davis, a true pioneer of jazz, is renowned for his innovative approach and genre-defying discography. With a career spanning over five decades, Davis explored and mastered a wide range of styles, including cool jazz, hard bop, bebop, jazz fusion, jazz blues, and even free jazz. His music is a testament to his restless creativity and relentless pursuit of new sounds. Davis's work is not just a collection of notes but a journey through the evolution of jazz itself. From the cool, introspective tones of "Birth of the Cool" to the groundbreaking fusion of "Bitches Brew," Davis's albums are a chronicle of his artistic evolution. His trumpet playing, characterized by its distinctive phrasing and use of space, remains influential to this day. Davis's legacy is not just in the music he created but in the way he continually redefined what jazz could be.
