I agree with most folks here: the packaging could've been nicer with a gatefold. If you're into Miles' later work, or even if you enjoy 80's pop, RnB, and soul, you'd probably like the covers and Miles' overall vibe on this. The recording's pretty solid, Miles sounds awesome, but the mix could've been a tad tighter and cleaner as the bass feels a bit too boomy. This affects the rest of the band, as Deron Johnson (Keyboard) is super quiet and sometimes hard to hear. If you can grab this at a decent discount, it might be a fun listen.
Great recording and an incredible show! Happy I finally got to listen to some of these Prince tracks that I've heard so much about and it was worth it. Really enjoy the sound of these 80's and 90's Miles tunes.
INCREDIBLE, what a fantastic show...2 records packed with Awesome Songs. The pressing is top-notch, the audio is great. The packaging is alright.
It's great that this concert was released - there are some truly special moments, and when Miles comes in with his solo, it's absolutely breathtaking - the atmosphere quiets down and you get the sense that everyone is looking at the Master like he's a deity, just soaking in his music.
The quality of the pressing is solid, and the booklet offers a fascinating look into the recording and Miles' time at the venue. The sound mix could be better - the keys are a tad too low - but if you're a fan of Miles' later work like me, you'll truly appreciate the captivating audio experience this provides.
