Wow, what a fantastic pressing! The sound is vast, with enormous 3D depth and incredible detail in the midrange. It's lively on top and solid on the bottom. The fidelity is powerful and perfectly balanced. I own the SACD, but this just tears it up in a way that digital can't match. It creates that in-the-room experience that brings the music to life. This album is an awesome press indeed. It's uncertain if it'll be re-released, a pity that it's seen as a low point in their discography. With the recent soundtrack reissue, the record stands out in a fresh way. This is a fantastic Talking Heads album.
Disappointed with the production quality, which is typical for colored vinyl, as it has some warping and a couple of pock marks, but the sound is fantastic. The mastering was done well, and I'm really enjoying it.
Wasn't ever a huge fan of True Stories, but hey, talking heads is talking heads and it's a blast. Plus, the poster is pretty cool!Album: 3Record: 3
