Whether a review is positive, negative, or neutral, we always publish it. However, we screen every review to ensure it is authentic and free of profanity. These checks happen automatically, though a human occasionally steps in. We never pay for reviews.
I finally noticed that the original Analogue Rock ended by fading out, and this remaster brought back a real ending...
I'm encountering the same hissing problem on the right channel with this reissue as I did with the Peng! one, particularly noticeable on "Pack Yr Romantic Mind." It might just be my setup (I suspect the antiskating on my AT-LP120 might be busted), but aside from that, this is a long-overdue reissue of an excellent album that I wholeheartedly recommend. The cover art is a bit peculiar, though - it's a double gatefold, but inside there's only a single wide-spine pocket holding all three records and the poster, instead of the usual triple gatefold design.
Fresh out of the box, the audio was a bit muffled, but after giving it a good wet clean, the sound quality was fantastic. Just a quick heads-up, record pressing facilities aren't exactly clean rooms, so even brand new records might need a wet clean before you play them.
