The audio quality here is far superior to the 2008 reissue, but I'd be really curious to hear how an original version would compare to this one.
This pressing is real bad, hardly worth listening to. Too Pure claims it's alright though...
Absolutely incredible sound quality. It's like experiencing the album for the very first time. This definitely makes that dreadful 2008 version look bad.
I'm not certain if it's due to my configuration (ATLP120, Nagaoka MP-110), but I've encountered some odd hissiness, particularly on the song "Peng ! 33". Aside from that, it's a fantastic pressing.
Whoa, this one's really quite good. It's spot on to the original CD, with just a hint of added saturation. The bass is still barely there, but that's the mix, not the mastering. The other low-end stuff sounds fantastic. It keeps the album's famous spacious feel. Even the organs hold their tune pretty well! That's a first. Oh, and my insert's missing the liner notes. The lyrics are there, but the back's just an orange copy of the album cover with no writing. Strange.
