not good, mess ups! awful. not so good. flawed print
The pressing quality is clearly on the cheaper side, with one of the records in my set even having a label hole that's too snug to easily fit onto the spindle, requiring some persuasion to get it in place. Additionally, they've gone with a heavily edited version of "A Boy Named Sue," even though there's an official uncensored version available that's been included in other compilations. It's a baffling choice for a collection that's supposed to be an essential must-have. The only positive I can say is that the sound quality seems decent, with no noticeable surface noise or skipping, so it might be worth picking up if you come across a discounted copy.
Never before have I encountered a brand new record in such a beat-up, dirty condition. It's covered in cosmetic scratches and marks. After a thorough cleaning, most of the white spots and dust disappeared, and now it plays as it should.
