  The whole collection of The American Recordings is absolutely brilliant, and every single time, no matter what I'm up to, I have to pause and just immerse myself in the music. I've found the CDs to be top-notch quality, they play seamlessly, the audio is superb, Johnny Cash's vocals are stunning, and the recordings are bursting with incredible vitality. The booklets are well-made and visually appealing. My only wish is to have a vinyl version, as it's the best for my ears. I highly recommend it for listening.   The whole collection of The American Recordings is absolutely fantastic, and each time I listen, no matter what I'm up to, I have to pause and just enjoy the music. I've found the CDs to be top-notch in quality, they play seamlessly, the audio is superb, Johnny Cash's vocals are stunning, and the recordings are bursting with energy. The booklets are well-made and visually appealing. My only hope is for a vinyl release, as that's what my ears prefer. I'd definitely recommend it for a listen.   This album deserves so much better. The pressing is truly disappointing. I'm really hoping for a better repress that does this fantastic album the justice it deserves.
