  • Cozy Concert with Great Sound

    4 out of 5 stars
    ZisdUZogz3 January 2026United States🇺🇸

It seems like an awesome concert in a cozy spot. The stage might be on the petite side, but the sound is fantastic.

  • Intimate Concert with Great Sound

    4 out of 5 stars
    GuslAHasm5 December 2025United States🇺🇸

Great concert in a intimate setting. The stage might be smaller, but the sound is fantastic.

  • Awful Sound, Great Songs

    5 out of 5 stars
    FmaGizzjTepzNujuqm16 September 2025United States🇺🇸

The label's not to blame, but the recording's sound is truly awful. Yet, I loved the songs and the performance. It's like a bootleg version of great tunes.

  • Live Peak, Audio Weak

    4 out of 5 stars
    kubqipeyicec7 July 2025United States🇺🇸

The audio is precisely what you'd anticipate from gigs taped by an enthusiast on a cassette. It's bootleg standard. Yet, it's the performances that truly shine. Television at their live peak, sounding far more punk than their polished studio tracks. It's electrifying. Guitars soar, experimental and daring. A must-have for band fans, less so for audio purists. In short, the pressing is decent - but don't expect to wow anyone with your high-end sound system.

  • Live Television Electric

    4 out of 5 stars
    hebzixawerug7 July 2025United States🇺🇸

The audio quality is just as you'd imagine from a fan's cassette recording. It's bootleg-tier, for sure. But who cares when the performances are this electric? Television at their live peak, way punker than their studio stuff. It's a blast. Guitars soaring, experimental, daring. A must-have for fans, though audiophiles might not be thrilled. The pressing is decent, but don't expect to wow anyone with your hi-fi setup.

About Television

Television, not to be confused with the telecommunication medium, is a pioneering band that has left an indelible mark on the music scene. Emerging in the mid-1970s, they are often credited as one of the key players in the proto-punk and post-punk movements, blending raw energy with poetic lyrics and intricate guitar work. Their sound, which also touches on art rock and new wave, is characterized by the distinctive, jagged guitar playing of Richard Lloyd and Tom Verlaine, creating a unique and influential style. With their debut album "Marquee Moon," Television set a new standard for alternative music, showcasing Verlaine's cryptic, literary lyrics and the band's tight, dynamic performances. Their music continues to resonate with fans and inspire new generations of musicians, making Television a vital and enduring force in the world of rock.
