This cd sounds amazing. It's got a powerful volume that doesn't come off as harsh, and the bass hits so hard, it's like you're at a live concert.
This AC/DC album from the 90’s-2000’s era is my all-time favorite, and this version is simply amazing. It's truly one of their most overlooked works.
At last, I've got my hands on this fantastic album.
After five long years, finally a new album from AC/DC – which should actually be a must. Especially since the predecessor "Ballbreaker" didn't really convince. But this time, unfortunately, it's not the long-awaited masterpiece like "The razor's edge" either. In my opinion, what the band presents here is only mediocre. Of course, there are a few strong tracks as always, like the title song "Stiff upper lip", "Safe in New York City" and "Satellite blues", but that's no surprise since these were released as singles. Some songs have catchy refrains that invite you to sing along, like "House of Jazz", "Hold me back", "Come and get it" and "All screwed up", but that's about it. The rest fades into the background and can't really convince. A shame, because after this album, one had to wait a full eight years for new material.
