Product Description

AC/DC's "Back In Black" is a legendary album that marked a triumphant return for the band in 1980, following the untimely passing of their charismatic frontman Bon Scott. With Brian Johnson stepping in as the new vocalist, AC/DC delivered a hard-hitting, high-energy collection of rock and roll anthems that would solidify their status as rock icons. The album opens with the thunderous "Hells Bells," setting the tone for the rest of the record, which includes the electrifying "Back In Black," the seductive "You Shook Me All Night Long," and the rebellious "Rock and Roll Ain't Noise Pollution." Each track is a masterclass in riff-driven, no-nonsense rock, showcasing the band's signature sound and Johnson's powerful vocals. "Back In Black" is not just an album; it's a testament to AC/DC's resilience and their ability to create timeless rock music that continues to inspire and entertain fans worldwide.

This 2024 Reissue Remastered Special Edition 50th Anniversary LP is pressed on 180g Gold vinyl.

Fantastic rendition! It's like they're performing live right in your front room.

  • Australian Pressing Triumphs

    5 out of 5 stars

so, i just picked up this particular Australian version right here. my apologies, Mr. Ludwig, you've crafted some amazing sounding records. but after experiencing an Australian pressing with the original master tapes, i'll never go back to the US pressing. the contrast is staggering. sure, the RL pressing is loud, powerful, and does sound good. but this Australian pressing has minimal compression, allowing it to breathe, creating a vastly bigger soundstage, and it genuinely sounds louder and far more powerful with the enhanced instrument separation. the best comparison i can make is that the US pressing sounds like it's blasting through a top-notch car stereo, while the Australian pressing feels like the band is performing live right in front of you. it's so open and dynamic that you can distinctly hear the different tones of the cymbals Phil Rudd is playing. i think it's time to re-evaluate the praise for the RL pressings, because this Australian version completely outshines it. and it's not even a close call.

so, i just picked up this Australian version you see here-https://www.discogs.com/release/10325605-ACDC-Back-In-Blackmy bad, Mr Ludwig. you've pressed some amazing sounding records. but after giving this Australian pressing a spin, using the original metal work, i'm done with this US pressing. the difference is staggering.yes, the RL pressing is loud and powerful, and it does sound good. but this Australian pressing has barely any compression, making it sound so open and expansive. it's got a much wider sound stage, and honestly, it sounds louder and way more powerful with all the instruments clearly separated. the best way i can describe it is that the US pressing sounds like it's playing on a high-end car stereo, while the Australian pressing is like having the band performing live right in front of you. it's so open and lively that you can even hear the different cymbals Phil Rudd is playing.i think it's time to rethink the praise for the RL pressings, because the Australian version completely outshines it. and it's not even a close call.

  • Rock Icons Strum Spines

    2 out of 5 stars
    NihamxulfteZivut24 November 2025United States🇺🇸

Among the most groundbreaking art rock endeavors ever conceived. Guitar licks that make your skin tingle, leaving a restless, lingering feeling. Like you're immersed in the music and the rock and roll icons are strumming your spine as their instrument. Truly remarkable, AD/CD!
